Why MOVING ON…?

A longtime English family friend has a wonderfully efficient way of dealing with a conversation that has become somewhat awkward or uncomfortable, gone on quite long enough, or simply ceased to interest him.

He simply says:

“Moving on…”

And it makes me laugh.

So when I had the inspiration for my first greeting card, and realized it might be the beginning of a line not necessarily intended for those with delicate sensibilities, I knew exactly what to call it.
